model of Global Warming

prepared for science exhibition in school

AUDITED LESSONS DELIVERED DURING INTERNSHIP

LESSON No. 1
Topic: Fun with Magnets
Objective: -The main objective of this lesson was to classify objects into magnetic and non-magnetic.
-         To analyze the effects of the like and unlike poles of the magnets i.e. attraction and repulsion of magnets.
-         Also the recognize the difference shapes of magnets.

LESSON No. 2
Topic: Electricity
Objective: - to recall the terms like electric cell, bulb, and filament.
-         To recognize the two terminals of bulb.
-         To draw and label he parts of bulb. (filament, two terminals)
-         To get aware of different uses and terminals of electric cell. (positive and negative terminals)

LESSON No. 3
Topic: Cell Structure and Function

Objective: - To draw the diagram of onion cell.
                 - To analyze different parts of cell i.e. Cell Membrane, Cytoplasm, Nucleus.
                 - To differentiated between plant cell and animal cell.

LESSON No. 4
Topic: Work and Energy
Objective: - To know the scientific concept of work.
-         To calculate work done by a body using the expression
          Work done= Force x displacement
CHAPTER: TRANSPORTATION IN ANIMALS AND PLANTS
LESSON No. 5
Topic: BLOOD
Concepts- the fluid which flows in blood vessels is called blood.
-         Various kinds of cells present in blood:
1)    Plasma- the fluid part of the blood.
2)    RBC- Red Blood Cell contains hemoglobin which makes blood appear red.
3)    WBC- White Blood Cells which fight against germs that may enter our body.
4)    Platelets- because of the presence of these clot is formed.
LESSON No. 9
Topic: Transport of Substances in plants
-         The vascular tissue for the transport of water and nutrients in the plant is called the xylem
-         The food is transported to all parts of the plant by the vascular tissue called the phloem.
-         Transpiration: a lot of water is lost by plants in the form of vapour through stomata during transpiration.

students enjoy laboratory method of teaching in science

LESSON No. 10
Topic: Combustion
-         The chemical process in which a substance reacts with oxygen to give off heat is called combustion.
-         Factors affecting combustion: 1) ignition temperature
 2) Oxygen.
The lesson was conducted in laboratory and students enjoyed learning..

Excretion in Animals

LESSON No. 8
Topic: Excretion in Animals
-         The process of removal of wastes produced in the cells of the living organisms is called excretion.
-         Structure of human excretory system.
-         Function of human excretory system.

Blood Circulation

LESSON No. 6
Topic: BLOOD VESSELS
-         Arteries and Veins are two types of blood vessels present in human body.
-         The number of beasts per minute is called the Pulse rate.
-         On reaching the tissues, the arteries divide into extremely thin tubes called capillaries.

The Human Heart

LESSON No. 7
Topic: HEART
-         Structure of human heart
-         Function of different parts of heart.
-         Concept of heart beat.
